An incredible building with spacious rooms and a very substantial breakfast. This was amazing value in Berat, a wonderfully scenic town. A brilliant stay.

There were two large groups that arrived while I was there. Reception was totally ill equipped to deal with the numbers and so was the kitchen. Dinner was awful and breakfast was mediocre. My room was very small and bathroom toiletries were extremely limited (I had one small container for body wash and shampoo combined). And the quality of the soap was awful for a 5-star facility. The hotel lobby and outside appearance are grand. I had high expectations.

Our rooms locate next to the disco cafe. The laud music stated from 8:30 PM to 1 AM. We can’t get good sleep because of the noise. The reception told us it will stop at 9:30 PM because they just want to delay us to trouble her to change us to quieter rooms. We booked 6 rooms and 3 rooms are very noisy. The reception in the morning said they can’t do anything about the noise. But, I don’t understand why they are so stubborn to put us at the noisy part where they have many other rooms facing mountains without noise vacant. Stay away from this hotel if you need good sleep.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very well priced. It was close to everything that I wanted to go and see in the area and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here if you’re ever in the area.

Everything about this property was very good. The breakfast was ample and had a lot of different options. The staff was friendly and courteous. I felt we were treated very well while we stayed there. Grand hotel in a good location for all Berat's attractions. Our room was very big with a fine view overlooking the castle. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Yes, some of the hot dishes were in fact luke-warm, but that didn't matter to us. Curiously, our room was serviced on the second day of our stay, but it didn't stretch to making the bed!

Great hotel, large rooms, easy walk to the main area of Berat. Only negative would be that u have to pay extra to use the pool, price does however include a drink. Hotel is still good value for money.
