"The chalet was very nice and clean. It was me, my wife and our two kids ages 6 and 7. The pull out couch was easy to use and the pillows and blankets were provided. The bed for us was in a loft area which was a little difficult to get in and out of bed. We enjoyed our one night stay here and would not have any issues staying here again. "

"Brand new. Well located to transport options and not too far from the centre. For the price it was well worth it and a nice stay. Warm at night but with fan running was ok. Needed to close the windows to keep out the street noise. It was super quiet and dark when windows and external blinds closed which was very nice. "

Convenient for a family with kids, small outside space. Only one regret, the refigerator did not really work and we spent 5 days trying to manage without it. "Modern hotel, on the river front with good amenities. Very light and airy. It is a 20 minute or so walk from the old town / railway station which suited me but worth bearing in mind. My room was large and spacious with a partial view of river. Very pleasant dining room, overlooking river where they serve a very good breakfast with huge choice. On top floor there is a spa, relaxing atmosphere - I booked a massage and the therapist was delightful. Reception staff were helpful and cleaning staff accommodated a special request I had. Great place for a few nights in a lovely town, plenty of nature and walking options nearby."

"Hotel Walhalla is directly across from St. Gallen HB (train station). This makes it incredibly convenient for travel, requiring no taxi or Uber. Local public transportation is in abundance. It is a short walk to Marktplatz for dining and shopping. The St. Gallen Textile Museum, the Cathedral, and the Abbey Bibliothek are easily within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The showers were delightful. The breakfast buffet offered options from scrambled or hard boiled eggs, three different yogurt options, fresh fruit, breads/rolls, pancakes, cereal, bacon, and fruit juices."

"Really helpful, friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast Very good evening food and bar. Rooms are compact but well laid out. Very clean rooms and communal spaces. Next to train station, colleague had some noise but no issue for me. Walking distance to town centre square - 12 minutes. Car parking in front, free or underground 8 Euro/night. Supermarket 2 minutes walk."
