Great location in old town Bergamo, walkable to train station (for Naples), bus stops, shopping areas, and numerous restaurants. Very helpful staff, and great buffet breakfast plus made-to-order coffees and eggs. Would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The staff is absolutely fantastic. Francisco, Rebecca, and Joanne are wonderful hosts. They helped with dinner ideas and reservations, not to mention setting up a great E-Bike tour of Bergamo. The breakfast is very good with a nice patio to sit outside on in the morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again when I am in the area.

From the moment of our arrival, at the breakfast buffet (and yes, they do eggs anyway you want), and as we explored their beautiful city, we valued their help and friendliness.

My wife and I loved our stay at Bergamo. Beautiful little hotel with great service. Uta goes above and beyond and we thought she was the owner. Turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Hopefully we come back one day!

We have had a wonderful stay at Hotel Petronilla. The room was very nice. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. I can’t stress enough how pleasant and helpful the staff was. They went beyond with service. One gentleman (I wish I’d gotten his name) even went out and got Diet Coke for me when he realized that they were out. Breakfast was also very nice in a covered terrace. It was a little bit of a hike to the upper city but not too bad. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel..

What a lovely experience. We spent 4 nights at Petronilla. Francesco and Rebecca were so lovely and helpful. They gave us a good overview of the city and recommended great sights and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. When we come back to Bergamo, we will surely stay here. The location is great. This place is a gem of a find in Bergamo. Great location, bus from the airport drops you to city centre and hotel is 8 minute walk. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room is brilliant, neat and clean with all the modern amenities and lots of light. Five star clean bathroom and lots of towels! Spacious room to store luggage and mini dining table. Lots of plug points. We loved it. Good breakfast spread. However the star of the hotel is the manager Ute who provided us first class service throughout! Contacting us even before we got there, she is brilliant. We felt like we had met an old friend - she is friendly, helpful and offered us so much time and help. It was wonderful chatting with her and for us she really made our stay so memorable. Thank you Ute, we hope to be back soon.
