"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...

"The house was cute, and the location was good. We liked the woods and stream around the house and the quiet road it was on. The views of the woods out the windows were lovely. There were a few old board games for the kids, but not much else for them to do when it was raining. The TV worked well, and we had internet. Great hotel and great location!

"I had planned for one night, then changed plans at the last minute because of weather. They were happy to accommodate an extra night. The young woman at check in was friendly and efficient. When I asked for a microwave for the room, they happily supplied one. The room was clean and comfy. I walked into town (very close!) for some fun Christmas shopping. I also happened upon a trail head at the end of a street and enjoyed a little hike up the mountain for a nice view. The Trapp Family restaurant and coffeehouse was a short drive away. Loved my visit in beautiful Stowe! Thanks to Stowe Village Inn for wonderful accommodations! "
