"Photos on hotels.com are extremely misleading, room I got was very old and tired. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. I asked at reception and was told none available for the room. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly but this does not make up for the room being nothing like the photos. Just old and run down and lacking facilities. Plus the Wi-Fi did not work for my entire two day stay. I’m assuming some rooms have been renovated but I got given an un renovated room...

"Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French."

Set in something of an industrial zone but then it's very near the airport, which is rather the point. Good soundproofing of rooms. I thought the breakfast was a bit expensive but overall good value. "The kind gentleman with the excellent British accent quickly picked me up after I called from the airport for the shuttle. He also expertly checked me in and I was off to my clean, quiet & modern room for a shower and long rest after two days of travel. The following morning the hot breakfast went beyond Hampton standards with everything you could want. All an all a great choice for Toulouse."
