"Room was clean, staff were friendly, food was decent. My supply of coffee was topped up with extra sachets when the staff saw that I'd bought my own jar of coffee after I ran out. The atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant and cosy. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre, which makes it cheaper than more central places - but if you can't stand a five-minute walk, what are you doing in Betws-y-Coed? :)"

"We had a lovely stay at TheRoyal Oak. Staff are very friendly. The rooms were kept very clean and fresh towels every day. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was excellent. All in all it was a great stay."

"A great hotel with an excellent breakfast, it's the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the mountains/nature in the area. The bar and restaurant below are great as well especially in winter. The room was very clean, quiet and well stocked. Great staff too, would definitely book this hotel again next time we visit the area. "

"I stayed at The Dragon for 5 nights in October 2024 and was fully satisfied with the accommodations. The room was much better than expected, fairly large, very clean and comfy. The curtains could be a little thicker as I like a very dark room but it wasn't an issue given the time of year. The bathroom had good water pressure and plentiful hot water. The Wi-Fi was great and was nice to have a decent TV, too. The bed was a real gem - I had stayed in a dozen or so dif places in this extended...

"Absolutely lovely place! Stayed here last minute due to change in plans. Hosts were so attentive! In my 30s, this isn’t a place I’d normally stay if I’m honest, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back! "Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley.
