Although free WiFi is advertised, it doesn’t state that it is only available in the office or the store. The restaurant was closed the days we were to be there…also not disclosed. "Sem higiene e limpeza no geral, mas cozinha é gritante. Um apartamento de férias onde existe rotatividade de pessoas, exige-se o mínimo de higiene e cuidado. O apartamento está decrépito e sem condições para cozinhar ou simplesmente estar a relaxar. Objectos de decoração em demasia e carregados de pó, cadeiras partidas, mesa da cozinha em péssimo estado, mau cheiro… De fugir literalmente! Peace & tranquility in rural Alentejo

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese. There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly. The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay."
