"This location is EVERYTHING!!! Right on the beach, cozy accommodations with spacious bedrooms was perfect for the 4 of us - with the 3rd bedroom, we could've included another couple! Host John was lovely!!!"

"We stayed here with two other couples. The view makes this home a place for good conversation and peaceful contemplation while sitting on the decks. Even our dog was at peace, just chilling, overlooking the property and the sea! Our family had stayed at the house once before and we are now reminded that it is still a gem. You can feel the history of the home and there is an awareness of the lessons the home has taught over the decades. Experiences have been voiced through the art and emotion...

It's got everything I need and has always had consistently good quality. This time I noticed the cleaning service has finally returned to every day, as that had changed in the post-Covid era. "This hotel is beautiful and in a desirable location in Cumberland County (easy access to bus, rail, airline, taxi walkable). I cannot help but to compare & contrast it to other hotels from York, Cumberland, Lincoln Counties…. I have traveled for work FT since July 2013 and stayed at hundreds of brands. After the novelty wore off, another entrepreneur suggested I become a hotel brand member; and I tried a few. At the Hilton there was a male & escort; at the Hampton the team member in charge of turn-over disregarded my check-out and was harassing 2 hours early instead - which was weird; Best Western no problem; neither Holiday Inn; and all 4* resorts are lovely; as are a lot of the mom & pop places with hidden charm. Except in Maine. An Aloft I stayed at; their employee was charges with a serious crime; each hotel along the coast to Boothbay & West to Lake Sebago, SOMETHING was off. Yet this hotel seems normal and put together with motivates employees. It’s clean, quite, well-service; h"

From check-in to upgrade, which included a complimentary breakfast in C2 (delicious options and friendly warm service), to the convenient location, the ease of parking with a connecting breeezeway to the hotel and some delicious restaurants within walking distance, every moment was wonderful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Super friendly staff and an overall fabulous visit. I may not receive Guest of the Day the next time I stay but I expect I’ll still receive excellent service and wonderful accommodations. Highly recommend!"
