We visited during a quite time so it was very peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We walked to nearby restaurants and shops. We looked forward to having a fure since we had a fireplace but too much smoke came out so we ended up not having a fire. Shower head was very high which made for a difficult shower but it was removable. Would definitely stay again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Ember Lodge. The rooms and living spaces were nice clean and decently comfortable. The staff on property was friendly and kind. I did NOT like the check-in time of (4pm), which was way too late for the rate I was charged. That was unacceptable and inconsiderate. I will think twice before lodging again here.

It was super cute and clean ! It had all the amenities you need (fridge , microwave , coffee machine, ironing board/iron) bathrooms are stocked with clean towels they even have a fire place inside the rooms and you can purchase wood and fire starters in the lobby. Check in was smooth and they were very friendly definitely will come back ❤️

The cabin is super cozy with many nice details. Well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The road sign and some of the cabins look a little worn and do t let in how nice the inside is. Beds are quite soft. All in all great little place.

I stayed at Embers Lodge back in November 2022. I was very impressed with everything. The front desk lady was very nice and there was a very cute dog there and free candy. Our room was very clean and cozy. We would love to return

Too much smoke from other cabins fireplaces

The stay was great other than the strong smoke smell from the other cabins. I originally thought it was from our fire place but we put it out and removed the wood from our room and the Smokey smell would come back stronger on and off through the night and just to be sure I went outside and noticed both cabins next to us had their fireplaces lit. That was the only negative of the cabin

The place is quaint but really needs to be renovated. No A/C was a surprise. With windows open one hears traffic all night. Ceiling fan needs its separate light switch. Room is overall dark. The bed was extra firm, and although I like a firm bed, this one was FIRM.

Heating system needs an update

The place is clean. Our first room the heater wasn’t working and the high was about 30 that day do the room was freezing. They called a repair guy quickly. When it didn’t fix they were very nice about giving us a new room and upgrade at no extra charge. That room had two heaters. One worked well. We couldn’t get the other one to turn on until the morning. There was plenty of hot water. Their heating system needs an update.
