Front desk surprised me with a note & a bottle of wine for my birthday, as well as an early check in. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Only pit to this stay was that we were in an adjoining room so we felt like we had to be extra quiet. I should’ve looked into that before booking.

It’s a very trendy vibe and great break from the standard downtown efficiency hotel room. The room has a weird layout/furnishing for some, but the only real problem we had with it was an unpleasant chemical odor (did it come from the carpet or the air duct? We couldn’t tell.) we told someone about it when we left but didn’t hear back or anything. The windows fortunately open. It is a loud area so we closed them at night, and the soundproofing is good, slept like a baby. It is right at Fulton Market and very lively, walkable to the Lyric. The location was perfect and the vibe very nice.
