Yeti Ridge Retreat | Big Sky

Welcome to the Yet Ridge Retreat!

This 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home lies within the Spanish Peaks Club of Big Sky. The Yeti Ridge Retreat boasts phenomenal, unobstructed views of the Spanish Peaks mountain range, multi-level living, elegant custom wood finishes, and curated designer furniture. Surrounded by rich forest terrain, this home offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. This home is a unique Montana mountain home under the Big Sky!

In Winter, find yourself nestled into a true Winter wonderland. The ski access is unmatched once the residential lifts open for the season. Simply walk to the groomed residential trail from the garage door! Big Sky Resort or, "The American Alps," grants you access to some the BIGGEST skiing in North America.  For the Nordic skiers, the world-famous Lone Mountain Ranch is just an 5-mile drive from the home. Find yourself exploring a what seems to be endless wonderland of groomed Nordic trails and snowshoeing. Other close by Winter adventures include snowmobile tours, sleigh-ride dinners, snow-coach tours of Yellowstone National Park, guided ski tours in Yellowstone, dog-sledding tours, and more!

Ski Access: Access is weather permitting. Big Sky Resort has 6000+ acres of skiable terrain, using the ski in/out access trails from this home can take you 25-35 minutes to get to and from the main base area. We recommend this ski access for a more experienced skier.

Ski In/Out: Please note the ski access from this home is not for beginners. Skiers/Snowboarders will need to be confidently skiing blue terrain. The path directly behind the home is steep and may occasionally be ungroomed for a short distance. From the home you will walk out the back garage door to quickly catch the residential ski trail, this trail leads you to the Spanish Peaks Clubhouse. From there you will get on the Lewis & Clark Lift. Skiing back to the home will have a few more steps, detailed instructions will be provided within the home for your convenience.

In Summer, escape from the hustle and bustle to truly escape from it all. This home boasts an impressive landscape. Adventure the vast explorable terrain to include natural landscaping surrounding the home, an expansive deck overlooking the wooded forest with Wilson Peak towering above granting amazing views to be seen from the home, and a private hot tub. In addition, easily access a multitude of local hiking and mountain biking trails. The world-famous Gallatin River is just a 7-mile drive from the home. Enjoy community events such as the Farmer's Market and Big Sky's free Summer Concert Series (Summer events are generally spanning from mid-June through early-September). Other close by Summer adventures include whitewater rafting, guided fly fishing, kayaking, zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, hot air balloon rides, world-class mountain biking and more!

For the Yellowstone National Park adventurer, this home grants quick access to highway 191 south which leads you to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Marvel at the unspoiled scenery during your 45 minute drive along the historic Gallatin River to the entrance of the park. This section of the park provides access to Old Faithful, Gibbon Falls, the largest gathering of Bison, and hiking trails.

Gorgeous home and beautiful views! We enjoyed our stay! Just one suggestion is getting a king bed for at least the master bedroom. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Fantastic property and location, but not a true ski in
Absolutely stunning property and location in Spanish peaks. Spotless clean and impeccably well-maintained.The house itself is out of this world. Views are world class. We had 8 adults and everyone was comfortable. More than 8 would be difficult with baths. I’m not sure I would recommend this property for small children. I just don’t think it’s set up well for that. Everything was working in prefect order. Note: it is listed as a true (ski) in and (ski) out. It is definitely ski out, but not necessarily ski in? There is a small little chute about 8 feet wide that is a double blue difficulty that leads down to a trail where you have to traverse a significant distance to get to the first chairlift. That part was honest. Getting back to the house was much more difficult. This requires a private operational tow rope. If it is not operational, you have to hike approximately 80 yards uphill in deep ungroomed snow, which would be very difficult for someone who may be physically challenged or the elderly. We were all very physically fit, and didn’t find it too difficult, but we I’m were certainly winded. Otherwise would definitely stay again.
