"The first room had noisy people next door and they moved us without a fuss. View from the room was wonderful and we loved having a fire at night. It was too cold for us, but there were also in the fireplaces outside nearer the beach. The view was as wonderful as the pictures. We will be back."

"Location is great off of old fisherman’s warf where whale tours depart. Would stay here again. Had a nice stay. I enjoyed the restaurant on site as well as the cafe-bakery. Crepes, bike rides, pleanty of souvenir shops close by, restaurant options all a short walk away."

"We had a corner room in the building on the street behind the main property. There was a large patio with amazing views of the town and the ocean. Even though it was January, we still sat outside to watch the sunset. On a chillier evening, we lit the fireplace for a cozy winter evening. The location is terrific - walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping in the town of Carmel. Typical free breakfast, but good enough to get a start on the day. The room was clean and quiet. I do wish the chairs, both at the table outside and the table inside, had been more comfortable. "
