5/5 Excellent
"We had stayed here before and based on that experience I didn’t consider booking anywhere else.
The location is about a 5 - 10 minute walk from Okayama station, just turn right at the canal.
Rooms are comfortable, quiet and have a window that opens sufficiently for some fresh air.
The breakfast is simply outstanding. Sadly, we only found out on our departure day that the restaurant is also open for lunch.
Okayama is a lovely city and perhaps overlooked as a destination. Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto are easily accessible as is the island of Naoshima.
The city is very walkable and the Okayama Korakuen (garden) is worth visiting.
The canal walk is lovely."
