The property is just outside a small town, and there isn’t too much traffic during the day but at night it is silent. They were so welcoming of our little dachshund, and the gate can be closed to provide a safe place for a doggie to investigate. Their dog Paul is a lovely good boy. But also good connections to Many major cities and some stunning small towns on the Rhine such as Boppard. The house has fly screens on all windows and doors, which was fantastic for me as I always get bitten by mosquitos. Not here I didn't. 2 x bedrooms are a good size for our needs. Garden was lovely and quiet. Good WiFi for those who can't do without it. My 12 year old daughter being one...

"Great house to stay at but a car is essential if you plan on a lot of exploring and for local shopping. Local bus stop just around the corner for both directions and Vallandar is around a 30 minute walk away or nearest city of Koblenz (which is wunderbar!) is a 30 minute bus trip. "Ein mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes kleines Haus, ein riesiger Garten, die ruhige Lage im Dreieck Bad Ems, Montabaur und Diez, sowie der freundliche und stets ansprechbare Vermieter haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir eine sehr entspannte Woche in Winden verbracht haben. "Excellent, clean and fanctional medium-sized room & complete ensuite for 1 or 2 pers. Easy check-in process and helpful staff. Occasional but very minor noise from road traffic / train outside but not an issue. With backpack / luggage: only a 15 min walk to Koblenz Hbf. Only a 7 min walk to the SW edge of 'Old Town'. And excellent hotel: thank you! "
