"This was a great pick of a place to stay. Nice, well kept cabin at the top of a kind of steep driveway. Not really a problem for my wife's Jeep Renegade front wheel drive. Secluded, quiet spot on 200 acres and park land beyond. Trying to escape a little late Summer Texas heat and succeeded as a couple of mornings hit upper 30s early October. We went to Alley Springs, Blue Spring, Rocky Falls , hiked the loop on the property, and went to Shawnee Creek Campground to hike around to try and view...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mr. Steve is is just the best and so easy to get along with. We wanted to come in a day early and he was completely accommodating. The whole area is so peaceful and beautiful. Local diner is really nice for a good meal. The property is gorgeous and we took advantage of riding it in our Bronco. The rivers in the area are so pretty. The home itself was clean and set up nicely. We're planning a return trip next spring to explore more of the area. "
