Bathroom sink was cracked, had no plug and never delivered hot water, BUT, the shower was hot, the room was warm and the bed was comfortable, so overall, about right for the price.

Room had no mirrors except for the one in the bathroom and there was barely any light in there apart from that jt was clean enough. Lots of renovations and painting going on so was quite noisy. Good ample car parking

Staff didn’t talk much but were pleasant enough, room was in awful condition. Unsure if the curtains were dirty or mouldy, bedding was ripped, shower had parts missing so could not move shower head.
Very very basic, lift not working, no water pressure. Bed was fairly comfortable. If you want cheap and not so cheerful then go for it. If not spend a little more and stay somewhere else
The staff were fine, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean. However, the property was a bit of a mess. The carpets were threadbare, there are currently renovations happening so the whole place smells of diesel fumes, the room I was in was hidden behind a weird false wall at the end of the corridor and I spent ages looking for it, part of the hotel looks totally dilapitated and almost abandoned, the light above the bathroom mirror didn't work, one of the bedside lamps didn't work, the TV wasn't even on the wall and all the wires were sticking out...
My biggest issues was that the lift was out of service due to the renovations taking place - this would have been fine if there had been communication about this prior to my stay so that I could request a ground floor room, but I didn't get that didn't happen. I have have arthritis in my knees and hips so I find stairs painful, especially if I'm carrying something heavy like luggage. When I checked in I was told my room was on the fourth floor, which is not something I am physically capable of. I told the man at reception this and he said the only other room available was on the second floor. I had no option but to take it, but I was still forced to struggle on two flights of stairs while carrying luggage (no help was offered), which was quite painful for me. This just isn't acceptable - either list that the hotel is not accessible or make reasonable adjustments for your less able guests.
Tired room and no fresh / clean mugs tea or coffee for day 2. Tv barely worked no live tv had to use Netflix ac but remote needs new batteries hence very slow and frustrating. Location was good for what I needed, reception is the bar and staff varied from kind and helpful to no words and just nod of head
Check in was smooth. The lift didnt work, so glad qe were on the 1st floor. There was immediate sign on long term damp along the corridor. The room smelt like it needed air. The walls need a pait. There were stains all.over the walls, even in the bathroom. We had to ask for the heating to be on in the evening and it was straight away. It served its purpose for a budget nught stay, but i wouldn't stay here again unless it has a makeover. The doors to the rooms have to be slammed shut also, meaning you can always jear banging.
This was the worst hotel I have stayed in in years. The name suggests something far better than reality. The hotel is very tired. The restaurant does not operate. The clientele seem to be mainly local workers (some nice people but a bit scary). The bath was flimsy and had a burn mark in it. The room was otherwise clean. The fire alarm went off early morning. There was a lot of commotion from a couple of doors down in the night. I then received a fine from a third party company because I had parked in the car park overnight. I saw no signs and no mention was made about parking when I checked in. The website said that parking was free. Never again will I consider staying at that hotel. It should be shut down.

The room was clean, spacious and recently decorated. I would have liked to have known that the hotel was having major renovations to the entire downstairs, including the reception area.
Apart from this, staff were courteous and happy.

Overall good hotel as it is, great for a cheap stay.
Terrible hotel and would not recommend staying there.
Place was like a building site, room was dirty and the bathroom was horrid.
Wasn't worth the money and won't be staying there again.
This hotel should not be operating. Everything was awful and dirty, did not enjoy any of it. The mattress had a stain, TV doesn’t work, bathroom is dirty.
Avoid. The rooms are dirty and tatty, the hotel is full of abandoned material and broken furniture, the walls are paper thin and bathroom fittings are hanging off. Not a pleasant stay at all. It makes The Overlook Hotel feel warm and hospitable.

This hotel is the epitome of you get what you pay for, if you want a cheap place to sleep and NOTHING else you will be fine. But aside from that, it’s lacking a lot of love, the hallways are terrible and outdated, the rooms need to be cleaned to a better standard and the lift needs to be fixed
The room smelt the bed was uncomfortable the bathroon smelt like a open drain we oaid for 2 nights but onlt stopped 1 night because how bad the accommodation was.

Room was in ok condition, TV was wonky, a fee screws sticking out the wall & a picture hung up wonky but didnt really bother us to be honest. In the bathroom the toilet seat didnt fit the toilet properly & was very loose.
The hotel it's whilst it has been recently been redocrated, its still quite dated & looks tires.
