Staff were lovely and helpful. Oksana and Fabiana. Doing a great job despite being let down by the circumstances of the hotel maintenance/offerings etc. Room smelled sweaty. Shower leaked. Most of the carpets on my way to my room had stains. Lift has a mind of it's own. Car park extremely uneven - not good for parking a motorcyle (which i was). Food menu - didn't have what was on the menu. Drinks - didn't have the lager i wanted. Seats were damaged,ripped,old. TV couldn't pick up most channels. Bed had old matress, old fittings, old everything. Window was wierd - couldn't close it fully and so noise from the main road can't be blocked out. Good points - heater worked in the bedroom. Wifi also worked well throughout. Breakfast was cheap and worth the £7. The room was cheap and if you only want the absolute basics from a hotel ie somewhere to crash and sleep and fox trot oscar the next day, then this place ticks boxes. But book with the midset of it's an old, run down, poorly maintained 'hotel' obviously being run on a shoestring budget. The staff i encountered were great though and helped with any issues i had, and did it with a pleasant demeanor.

Alway been a regular from way back in the day when it was travelodge but, since it’s changed hands I haven’t visited until last night with my partner. Nothing has really been upgraded since the company has changed hands and the one thing that stood out for me the most was how uncomfortable the bed was. It’s too low and the mattress was very coily and unsupported. Can feel the springs which gives no support and it’s very low which made it challenging to get up from the bed. The bed felt cheap unlike beds at premier inn which are much much fuller and higher and more supported. Carpet needs a deep clean also

The rooms were old and dated. There were stains and burns in the carpet, and the mattresses were absolutely filthy with satins. We were shown two rooms.....we did not stay.
