"The communication with the property owner was fantastic....This is truely a hidden gem.....Nature, quietness, calmness galore!! A great place to relax and enjoy. The fire pit is sensational. The inside decor is a bit dated but still very comfy and a great hot shower!! Loved our second stay - We will be back!"

"The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was fine. But the dust was thick on many surfaces - the top of the fridge, microwave, skirting boards, power points, venetian blinds, and doorway. Also the TV had no signal much of the time so I was appreciative of a pack of cards and 50 year old National Geographic magazines to pass the time."

The large spa pool was a big hit with the children, and the coffee machine was essential to the adults. Access to the river was about 1km away where we launched our runabout boat.
