Fri night stay
Great value for money. Paid more for poorer hotels in the area. I booked OakLea based on the reviews and it was exactly as reviewed. Very friendly people which was nice, room was clean, warm, comfortable would definitely stay again. Didn’t have food there as we had made plans elsewhere.
Property was a good size and grewt location, we didn't spend much time in the room but it was nice size and very clean. Only downside was we had no spoon with the tea & coffee facilities.
This was my 2nd time at Oak Lea.
Staff are lovely and helpful, my room was a good size, comfy bed again. The room had a Desk and chair in the room which was great.
Bathroom again fairly big and lovely shower.
No complaints from me and will happily stay again on future visits for work in Blackpool.
I was in one of the upper floors accessible via the lift

The staff were as welcoming as always and you feel at ease.
The only two small issues where one being that the evenings entertainment went on to long at such a high volume, which meant i could everything clearly without even being in the basement. The other one was that they toilet is located in the worst possible place, it needs turning 90 degrees so that it can be used in comfort.
It was great thank you. But not happy at all with Expedia as I paid £44.89 more then I should have and still waiting for the refund . I am disgusted with their services
We stayed in room 41 with a double bed and single bed on the third floor lift was in good working order.there was just a problem we had no hot water in the bathroom.had to use the kettle for hot water
Very dated needs cleaning up, no hot water in our room, bar service bad no ice no diet drinks, reception area needs a good clearing up behind desk overall needs a good cleaning would not stay there again.
Found all aspects of hotel good from reception to helpfulness of all staff especially restaurant special thanks to Dean our waiter who looked after myself and my daughter as we both have mobility problems.
I did not stay at the hotel. On entering the room allocated to me I was upset about the condition of the room. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls, the walls had damp patches and smelt terrible.
I left the hotel and spent over an hour looking for alternative accomodation for the weekend. The hotel is terrible and requires modernisation.
Very worn down, smells very distinctive when you walk in and out of the hotel. Make sure you lock your door i had on 2 occasions a random guest walk into my room thinking it was their room.
