A little tricky if you have a lot of luggage due to the stairs and distance from pullover spot, but worth it for the incredible view. There was plenty of room for our dog to run around in the outside and even though it was November it was clear that the gardens were amazing. "We were greeted by the most friendly gentleman, who checked us in, offered to take our bags and showed us to our room. He asked if we would like a table for dinner and invited us to join in with the quiz. The food was delicious, the waiting staff knowledgeable, chatty and even the other customers were friendly too. "

Great place to stay for work

"Stayed here a few times in different rooms. This one was different again. Set up in a type of annex little cottage external at the side of the hotel. Didn’t know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Lovey warm and spacious double room and on suite. Like a little one bed cottage. Road noise wasn’t too bad seeming the lane was close to the main road. Warm and secure all amenities there. Nice little hotel and always happy here. Breakfast had changed to between 0730-0830. Very short time frame. So didn’t partake in the breakfast included. Which is usually very very good. "
