"This is a very special property. Beautiful home with everything you need. Spectacular views, convenient to all attractions near the Sand Dunes, literally just minutes away, So many special touches, fluffy bath towels, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, fresh flowers, comfy couch, beautiful setting areas front and back of the house, full kitchen and it’s super clean. At night you walk out and the Milky Way is right above you!!! It was quiet and so so peaceful. Barb our host was wonderful and just welcomed us and made sure our needs were met. This property is above and beyond any place I’ve stayed over the many years I have come to the Sand Dunes. I will definitely return and honestly I’m thinking about going back for another stay this year because we had such a good time. I highly recommend this property. "
"Older building but the staff was extremely friendly. They give a breakfast voucher for a nearby restaurant but I didnt get to try it. I would definitely stay here again "
"Surrounding Great Sand Dunes was very convenient. The hummingbird feeders near our room, was one of the highlights as there were many birds so close to us, as we looked over the sand dune backdrop. Hostess at front desk filled the feeders up as soon as we told her they are running out of feeder food.
The restaurant just down the hill was excellent, with great staff and great food. We had a great time staying at the Great Sand Dune Lodge."

"This property is a gem! From the spices, cookware, dishes, and towels in the kitchen, to the extra pillows, blankets, cots, and air mattresses for the bedrooms, to the boards and sleds for fun at the Dunes, everything was clean and well-stocked. It's a very private spot, so our family was able to just enjoy the getaway and focus on each other without the distraction of needing or worrying about the property. Communication with the owner and team was top-notch, as they sent clear check-in and other info ahead of time and responded quickly to our few questions! We really appreciated the quality of the property and the experience behind it."
