"This apartment was well situated to easily walk through Chablis. It was very clean and had good amenities. No breakfast is served; but we picked up berries, yogurt the night before, and walked to get baguette/pastries in the morning, as the French do! This was a very quiet place to stay, despite being on a main road in town. This is definitely a place to stay! "

"A traditional French rural property whose owners have retained its rustic charm and its sense of an historic past. That said, it is more than a comfortable getaway. Equipped for social gatherings, with ample gardens the mill is situated in beautiful countryside. If you want easy access to the bustle of town and city life, it's not for you. If you want leisurely days, meandering through the local countryside, local villages and peace and quiet, this is the place to go."

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. "The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Naomi's gite in Montreal was perfect for my needs and Naomi was kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds. "Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive.
