Beautiful property, very tranquil, and with a lovely quirky interior design, an enjoyable place to stay. The hosts are a great couple - friendly and helpful. There’s no breakfast menu so you need to talk through what you would like in advance, especially if you’ve any allergies, intolerances or dislikes, and do ask for everything you want straight away when you are initially served. We were also a bit surprised they don’t service your room each day. If you are OK with these things it’s a hidden gem.
Phil and his family are wonderful people. We got lots of great recommendations for restaurants and wineries, and had great conversations. We'll be back!

We had a confirmed reservation from Expedia. The owner had booked another couple for our room on his website and he asked us to leave. Very awkward and disappointing to have to make another reservation unexpectedly. The experience suggests that a reservation through Expedia may be unreliable and of no value.
This is a beautiful “boutique” B&B, run by charming hosts Phil and Kathryne. The whole property is full of wonderful artwork and the garden is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts are excellent and Phil and Kathryne are happy to recommend wineries, restaurants and things to do in the area. There are bicycles to use as well. Nothing is too much for these wonderful hosts.
Phil and Katherine were amazing. The breakfasts were wonderful. It was like we were visiting friends. The few days that we stayed there will be apart of our best memories.
Great hospitality and great location in Blenheim! We had a lovely experience during our 2 day stay at the Antria. It is an intimate location with a farm style b&b charm. We were able to access all of the top wineries by bike.
Beautiful setting & the most generous & kind hosts
A hidden treasure in Blenheim, with a beautiful artistic flair, centrally located to explore the region.
Kathryne & Phil could not have done more to make our stay so memorable.
Looking forward to being this side of the world again for a revisit.
Best pancakes in New Zealand
Excellent location, fantastic decor of the rooms and house, beautiful garden and last but not least great hospitality. We would definitely recommend anyone looking in the area to stay at Antria. You will be happy to have stayed there.
Our stay was excellent. Phil looked after us from the minute we walked in until we left the following day. We paid for the half day Antria wine tour ($250 NZ for two) which was great fun. There may be more cost effective ways to see the many tasting rooms in Blenheim but for convinence and flexibility this tour was good. The breakfast was simply amazing - definitely ask for the bacon with the good chilli jam along side. Overall I'd highly recommend Antria.
Superb accommodation, friendly welcoming hosts, beautiful food and wine, great area and wine knowledge- The set for a perfect break away or for the discerning traveller journeying through our beautiful country.
We only had time to stay for one night as we were touring , but wish we could have stayed longer. The accomodation was superb and the hosts were lovely. Breakfast was delicious, and the homemade cookies and fudge were gorgeous !
Lovely decorated BnB. Paul welcomed us to their home as if it was ours too. We were welcomed to their livingroom to a huge selection of their Dvds. He welcomed us to their kitchen and showed us where things were so we could helped ourselves. He showed our daughter around his "farm", feeding their chickens, pigs, sheep and their garden. Too bad we were just there on a very quick stopover from Wellington and spent the afternoon at vineyard. We had to leave early the next morning to be at Kaikoura for the whale watch trip at 930am. We planned to just get up and went. Pick up coffee and breakfast on our way, but Paul woke up early to fix us breakfast. He recommended and booked us a lovely place for dinner too. He made our stay very pleasant.
This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast type accommodation and they have set the bar high for our next experience. Our hosts were gracious and the room and home were unique and very comfortable.
Engaging hosts, fabulous hospitality in a beautiful exclusive retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed socialising with other guests and our hosts.
Would return on a heartbeat if in the Marlborough of New Zealand
Facilities: Home away from home; Service: Remarkable; Cleanliness: Spotless;
awesome hosts. friendly helpful and the accommodation was just right for us as a coke
We stayed two lovely nights at Antria and Phil was gracious and accommodating given that we only had a couple of days. The room was spacious and well appointed with local Kiwi art. From the moment we arrived, Phil made sure we were comfortable. Starting us off with some wonderful Pinot Noir after our long trip from Sydney. Each morning Phil gave us new choices for breakfast and they were delicious, I recommend the soufflé omelet. Phil gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner and helped us make reservations as well as dropping us off. We look forward to returning to Antria next time we are in the Marlborough region.
The rooms at the B&B were impressive, the scenery was pristine, but Phil and Catherine (the owners) are the reason why Antria is among the highlights of our New Zealand trip. They were both so hospitable and fun that we felt like we were staying at a relative's house. The breakfasts cooked up by Phil were some of the best food I had the entire trip. And both nights the group would hang in the main living room and talk over some local wine. If we didn't already have our ferry tickets booked we would have certainly extended our stay there. If Elle and I ever make it back to New Zealand we'll be sure to stay at the Antria Boutique again!
