"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy villa. The accommodation was comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. "We liked this apartment which is about 15 minutes’ walk from the bus station and 25 from the old town. The apartment was clean and pleasantly modernised with access to hundreds of international tv channels and very well furnished/equipped although it is on the third floor of a communist era building block which appeared quite run down from outside. The block itself was initially a little difficult to locate behind a Konzum supermarket but was very comfortable and I would recommend it."

"This property was so lovely and so was the host. They sent perfect instructions with short videos on how to enter the property, which lock box would be ours, and how to lock the door properly. When we arrived we were walked to the studio by the SWEETEST and friendliest cat. He darted in and gave us a quick tour, some snuggles, and then went to visit his other cat friends outside. "If I could give Hotel Herceg more than 5 stars I would. Everything about this hotel was amazing. From location to the staff. The hotel is at the heart of Medugorje. A very short walk to the church, nearby shops, and restaurants. My family and I walked to Apparition Hill which was about 25 minute walk (highly recommend to walk, see the houses, and the Divine Mercy statue & well), and we walked to Cross Mountain. A bit further but doable. The staff were amazing! Every person we met was friendly, hospitable, and extremely kind. Will not be staying anymore else if/when I come back to Medugorje. AMAZING AMAZING STAY ! God bless this hotel. "

"We were so happy to have seen other reviews that led us to this beautiful hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and over the top kind. The location is gorgeous. You walk down stairs to get to it as it is situated right by a river. We ate a delicious traditional dinner (highly recommended) that they asked us about our interest in when we checked in as they had to start preparing an hour before our dinner reservation. We were able to sit on a patio overlooking the river and an old bridge. They had romantic string lights set up and it was such an incredible evening. We were happy with the location as it was literally right outside the street bazaar that was fun to shop at after dinner and the next day. It is close to the famous Mostar bridge as well and in such a charming location. The only thing we would recommend is asking for a shower mat as the shower floor was very slippery. I am not sure if they have that but it would be worth checking. We only stayed here one night but loved our experience so much that I wanted to be sure to repay the favor and recommend this to others. As a side note, we went in late October so we know it was less crowded in Mostar than other times of the year but we loved it. We also recommend the restaurant Tima-Irma that is on a street near by. We ate lunch there. Their traditional meal for 2 was amazing and only 25 Euros and huge. "
