"The hotel is not a 4 stars, I guess 2. The experience was not good, the hotel canceled our reservation arbitrarily, but we never knew because we were on the route, so when we arrived, the lady at the reception did not want to open the door, finally thanks to the help of a guest, the lady agreed to speak to us. "City Lodge Hotel in Bloemfontein is a very good hotel, food is nice and tasty, service excellent. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a lift service, and if your room happens to be on Floor 2 (they only have 2 floors…luckily) like the one I had, it meant carrying my heavy suitcase on the stairs both for check-in and check-out."

"I booked a family unit with one double bed and two singles only go get there to one bed. The lady we called said we will have to pay extra for every person who will be sleeping in their unit. We had to fight for one more person and ended up looking for another guest house for the other two people yet we paid for the family unit."
