I wasn't a fan of not being able to check in literally minutes early, as a female employee guarded the check-in kiosks and informed us of the upcharge for early check-in. I believe the Horseshoe does well enough not to have to charge for early check-in in this manner. additionally, with self-service check, there is no longer a personal touch upon arriving at the Hotel. Overall, the room was nice enough, with no towels and a non-working water fountain in the workout room.
