"While the hotel is clean, there were issues. The garage is awkward - one way in, and one way out. Getting in and out of that garage is tight, and is not very conducive for any vehicle bigger than a small SUV. Yet there is a huge parking lot behind the hotel. The room door had issues, but latching and then just using the card key. The shower filled up with water on that first day, but when I addressed it, maintenance did take care of it, and the door latching issue, but no the card key issue. The...

"Stayed here for the Hartford marathon since the start and finish lines is literally across the street. Very nice stay, quiet, clean, and convenient. Parking, Starbucks, and pizza within a 5 minute walk. Only negative was only given to 12:30 for a late check out after paying $740 for two nights stay, otherwise they would charge me half a day. City Parking garages close on weekends so you’ll have to find security if your car gets locked in."

A new base and individual pavers were being installed under the large porte-cochere during my 4-night stay. I hope the carpets get a good cleaning afterwards. "I like the big rooms here, it’s nice to have a refrigerator and microwave when traveling on business too. The room was again very clean and comfortable. The staff is nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The WiFi and television are good for work and entertainment. Parking is ample. "The room was very rundown and the carpet looked very dirty with stains all over it. Everything seemed dirty and unclean. We stayed two nights and no one cleaned our room the next day while we were out. No clean towels, garbage was not emptied etc. The staff were all very friendly and polite. Three stars out of five! "
