"We used this house mainly as a home base for a fishing trip on Smith Mountain Lake. This place was perfect since we could walk right down to the dock on the water and enjoy all the great views. "Property was spacious and views were beautiful! Plenty of space for my family. The house could use some upgrades, but as Scott has mentioned, the price then goes up as well. And you are in a beautiful location, and did I mention the views?! While it is a steep climb down and back up to the water, you're right on the water. There is a canoe and paddle boat, which we used on our stay without a problem. We did buy our own life jackets at a Walmart. The Foosball table was a hit for our family....

"From booking to checking in to questions, our stay was amazing. We escaped for a long weekend for our 5th anniversary. The owner was quite responsive to our questions. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the condo and complex. This is a small place, perfect for a couple. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo as we did a lot of exploring the area. "A very cool place to stay. Recently renovated it reminded me of an old hotel in the movies of the Golden era of Hollywood very clean room and very friendly staff. It is downtown so there’s downtown noise plus a railroad that runs just a block away, but they provide you earplugs And eye covers if you need that. I didn’t need any of that and fell asleep and slept perfectly fine. I would definitely recommend this beautiful quaint hotel"
