"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

Easy parking was available below the church, which was a 5-minute walk away from the property. The garden and view were highlights of the property that we will always remember. "Great place to watch the sunset from a shared deck while having dinner. Double check if the jacuzzi is in working condition, it was off due to covid measures during my stay. wifi was not available as described, however there was signal for vodafone data. The host sends you GPS coordinates to find the location in a welcome message. If you are driving uphill to reach what looks like a shed at the GPS cooridnates, walk back downhill a few meters to find stairs going down towards the house."

Jhonny came down to welcome us, and was a kind and gracious host, dropping everything to help us when our water supply suddenly went off. Balcony was great for evening sunbathing, and Arco itself is well positioned for easily getting around the island. All in all, very happy. "Property was beautiful. But it is a very busy location and parking between 10:00-19:00 is not free, you might find a free spot about 2km away but good luck w that during busy times. Kept getting expedia email request for personal email because lever insists on sending pictures instead of text instructions. Took 1hr to get into unit just to get correct address and correct unit number, too many message exchanges just to get inside. Entry should be simpler. Once inside all was well. "

"We had a pool suite for a family of 4, and the room was enormous and so luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, and my children said that the sofa bed was too. We absolutely loved the pool on the balcony. Breakfast was very busy, and an amazing number of guests somehow manage to drop food on the floor. The staff were quick to clean it up and replenish the food. We had buffet dinner once and that was really nice. There was a good selection of food that was constantly topped up. The pools were excellent, but it was slightly annoying that other guests hogged the sunbeds by placing towels on them early in the day but didn't go there until later. "
