Allen was attentive and accommodating when we arrived. He went out of his way to give recommendations of what to see in town. Property so personal and clean. Bocas is a great quaint town. There was road construction going on but was not loud.

The inn keepers and their dogs are wonderful. The beds, showers and breakfasts are amazing. They don’t ration toilet paper (which is common here), and the bathroom even has a magnifying mirror.

Lula’s B&B was a wonderful spot to land on the Isle of Colon in the Bocas del Toro chain of islands!! Tammy and Allen were wonderful, conscientious hosts with only the best of considerations for all their guests!! I would definitely stay with them again!! A real guest house in Bocas with a homely feel. Only 10 mins max to the action but so nice to come back to peace and quiet and the wsves across the road gently splashing away. Breakfast is superb and plentlyful. Everything cooked to order and tastes that way too.I find this place fits my needs and budget perfectly.

Bocas is changing. For many, the road works will clean up the town centre and make pristine beaches accessible but more distant places will remain accessible only by water taxi. A mixed blessing. Tammy is a supreme host, going above and beyond what might be expected. A great welcome, great food and helpful advice. Thank you.

High marks for the area because the owners care, are very helpful, and try to anticipate your needs, along with suggesting a variety of options and opportunities to fill your time. Current city-wide street reconstruction gives a few challenges so don't wear your good shoes. Double room was a little cramped but had all the basics plus a modern shower. Kitchen and fridge available if needed, but don't miss the included breakfast. There are stairs but luggage assistance if needed.
