"1. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Employees at the restaurant cannot really communicate or answer questions unfortunately (other than the lovely woman in breakfast) 2. Very nice, large, clean, comfortable rooms 3. Food was mostly good, large choice of salads and vegetables 4. The pool is nice BUT slippery and dangerous. It will end badly if not taken care of 5. "Als wir 16:30 Uhr angereist sind, kam erst das Putzteam an[c/i Zeit ab 16 Uhr stand in der Reservierungsbestätigung]. Wir haben uns noch 2 Stunden vertan, und kamen dann gegen 19 Uhr an, der Schock war groß, es wurden zwar neue Betten bezogen, jedoch wurde das Haus nicht geputzt, es war noch schmutzig von den Vorgängern. Das Putzteam musste also erneute kommen, da wir nicht in dem Dreck der vorherigen Gäste wohnen wollten. Generell ist das Haus dringend renervierungs bedürftig, denn wenn die...

"This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. There is not even a ramp to take your baggage in from the car which is parked away. The staff were unfriendly unhelpful and had a generally bad attitude. The rooms were cramped and the whole hotel felt cramped. The staff at the restaurant wanted you to eat and go as fast as posssible. All in all terrible experience "

"Lovely place and excellent facilities. Loved the pool and would come back even just for that it was also surprisingly quiet. All the staff especially the reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english much better than my poor german. The room was large, comfy and had everything we needed "

"We have been to a lot of hotels during our travels in Europe and this is one of our favorite hotels. It’s quirky, clean, great location, good service, delicious free breakfast, they give you towels and bathrobes to use in the mineral bath (only a 5 minute walk), friendly staff and provided discounts for the gondola and mineral bath. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!"

"Our stay at Alpina Wagrain was one of the most enjoyable experiences we’ve ever had. The property is nestled between mountain ranges, offering breathtaking panoramic views. I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of the view from our bedroom window. However, what truly stood out to us was the exceptional attitude of the staff. As a family-owned hotel, they have a remarkable way of caring for their guests. We were there for hiking, and they took the time to help us with hiking routes and even recommended a great restaurant. The people are absolutely amazing—they truly understand hospitality, and it’s clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast selection. As vegetarians, we were thrilled with the variety of options available. There was an abundance of fresh fruit, Alpro yogurts, and a selection of healthy seeds—it was heaven for us. The coffee was also delicious. We would love to return to Alpina Wagrain in the future. We deeply appreciate their hospitality and the wonderful food offerings."

"This was our first time visiting Austria and we were not disappointed! As a family of four with two children age 6 and 10 the location of the hotel and the facilities offered by the hotel was second to none. Specifically the included pool pass to the local water park was outstanding. The safe environment of the hotel and the local area meant it was the first time we felt that we could leave the kids somewhat unattended and meant we could properly relax. All local amenities are in walking distance, (snow lifts, walks up the mountains, local shops). Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and tidy with ample space, two separate bathrooms was a welcomed surprise! We did the all inclusive option but there is plenty of utilities to do self catering if you prefer (oven, hob, fridge, freezer etc). Perhaps the only negative, but this is probably the case with all holidays, the all inclusive option was very good but the buffet did get a bit tedious towards the end. One recommendation for the hotel would be to improve their coffee and offer oat milk, but that is because we are coffee snobs. All in all this was such an amazing experience and would we come back……it’s a huge yes from us! "
