"Comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, good food. The hotel has a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant which was superb, breakfast was good too. Across the road from the hotel is a lovely quaint bar called The hole in the wall, i recommend this too, if you don't want a bustling pub full of kids, because this is a lovely pleasant drinking house."

"This location, property and careful attention to key amenities made for a fabulous weekend exploring Cornwall. We made trips to Bodmin Jail, Tintagel Castle and Land’s End from here. Wadebridge is 10 mins away, but this spot is beautifully secluded and very well appointed. The farm animals on the property will be an attraction on their own to some families. 3 different size units available, all sharing a beautiful courtyard. The hosts are wonderful as well!!"

"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business. The day kennels, although we didnt use them, are an added bonus. The cottage is situated in a great location, so many dog friendly places to visit, all around 30 minutes drive, some of the roads going out of the property are very narrow but asits Cornwall,its kind of what you expect. We visited a few beaches, the Eden project, and the lost gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock House and Gardens, all of which are dog friendly and we would highly recommend. Caroline left us a nice bottle of red and some scones,on our arrival, which was a nice surprise and greatfully received. We will definitely be back as this has been a wonderful break for both us and our dogs. "
