Unprofessional Service and Disappointing Experience
Our stay was disappointing due to unprofessional staff and a lack of basic amenities. We had an issue with hot water in our room, requiring two calls and two trips to the front desk. This dragged on for over three hours, and no one bothered to check the problem themselves.
Breakfast was even worse. The only options were bread, cheese, tomatoes, honey, and a few egg dishes. As a vegetarian, I paid $20 for a bowl of fruit and $10 for a glass of orange juice—items you’d find at even the smallest hotels. It’s hard to believe this hotel has a 4-star rating on Expedia or Google.
On our checkout day, we arrived at the breakfast area at 8 AM, hoping to eat before leaving at 8:15 AM. The first staff member showed up at 8:05 AM, clearly unprepared. Despite telling him we had to leave in 10 minutes, we received nothing and had to leave without the breakfast we paid for. Not a single staff member offered to pack food for our trip to the airport.
Housekeeping was also unprofessional. While cleaning, they rolled up the sheets and accidentally took my AirPods. Thanks to “Find My AirPods,” we located them in the laundry room ourselves, as the staff insisted they were still in the room.
I wish there had been an option for a refund after the first day. I’m just relieved I only booked two nights.
