Could do much better.

We arrived in a monsoon downpour. No bellboy, just a security guard pointing vaguely in the direction of our room a good 250m away. No umbrella offered. The foot paths were like rivers. Not the best start. The bedroom was ok except the aircon which was totally inadequate. The bathroom was not good at all. The door would not stay closed so the very little cool air that the aircon provided went straight in there. The bathroom was not clean and in poor repair. The toilet looked distrusting. Mould around the plug hole etc. On the plus side, the staff were very nice. I believe it’s the management that let things slip!

It was detailed in advertisement that the standard room would have a king bed, but embarrassingly it was two single beds.

It was a stopover to get into Bantayan, for the price and scarcity of resort in hagnaya, I would recommend this to travellers that need to stay over waiting for the ferry to Bantayan

This is a resort best fitted for families due to the pool. Do not expect cleanliness at this place.. The only good thing with this hotel was the guy at the bar that was very friendly. We stayed at a standard room but maybe other rooms are much better, though we didnt risk staying another night to find out...

Whenever I called the front desk, I got an immediate response. Beds were comfortable and clean. Pool was clean with not a smell of cloriine. There food portions were to large.

Make the room much cleaner and smell good

We used to stay here for so many times the rooms was nice and clean we usually got room 24,25and 26 but this time we got the room 23 it was not that clean it smells a little bet like poo specially in the bathroom but I still recommend to stay Hagnaya beach resort as is it so beautiful views and very friendly staffs they give what you asked them.....

Reasonable/average room and a good rate. Nice pool to swim in. Mostly quiet stay but the restaurant staff cranks the music at 6:30 am to fix breakfast!

Although it is in the middle of nowhere it is a great place to unwind. Excellent value for money. Ideal for those on a budget. Even the restaurant including alcohol was cheap. Fantastic pool area. Only stayed 2 nights but next time will stay longer. Only negative was the bathroom layout and the shower leaked continuously whereby a bucket was filled every 12 hours. However that aside i would recommend it.

Good food, great accommodations and friendly staff. Not much of a beach, but you will see some wonderful sunrises. It has a grilling area where you can cook for your guest and family. I enjoyed the time I spent there. Will visit again.
