"Although some of the other reviews made this property seem uninviting, as an older property we had no issues with it. Yes, the carpets need to be upgraded as they have stains but the bathroom was very clean with no mold. The beds were comfortable and pillows held their shape. We didn’t see any sign of bugs as others stated and the manager was very friendly. "

"This was an adorable and charming little mom and pop place. Everything about it was inviting with old beach motel charm. The location was amazing in that it was close to beach and restaurants and even in town it was nestled under the oaks with a tropical landscape. This is a sweet spot for family and children to play as well. The staff serviced our room and refreshed it while we took a dip in the pool and we just couldn’t be more pleased with the personal attention. We will definitely return."

"Really friendly staff with clear and useful communication. They had good recommendations for restaurants and places to see. Super convenient location and a great price for a last minute, holiday weekend trip. They had bikes to borrow and water for us in the fridge after a hot hot day. This was a pretty no-frills room but had everything we needed and the staff is definitely going the extra mile to make sure you’re happy."

"This is an older property that has been renovated. From the outside, at a glance, you could miss this truly charming gem. I’ve visited the area for over 20 yrs and I never knew this was here. The room was spotless. Had all amenities that we needed (coffee maker & fridge). Bed was super comfy. Decor was retro funky and such a pleasant surprise. We even had a lava lamp! Owner was super laid back and easy to work with. Property is on the edge of one of the lakes that has been drained for...
