Parking spaces are very tight, even with a reasonably small car, very difficult getting in and out, almost impossible with a baby. "Sehr schöne Umgebung, wenige Gehminuten zum Strand. Am Strand hat man seine Ruhe, sehr sauber. Man kann viel auf der Insel unternehmen. Das Haus ist sehr alt aber hat seinen Charme. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und spricht auch gut Deutsch. Er lädt oft zum Essen und Aperetif ein und ist ein sehr guter Koch :) Außerdem kann man mit ihm wandern gehen, die Insel erkunden und erhält viel historisches Wissen über die Insel und Frankreich im allgemeinen. "We spent 3 nights in Anne Laure's self catering holiday home in Pornic. The outside of the house needs some paint, but don't let this bother you as it is of no importance. The inside was super clean and very, very nice - all rooms are tastefully furnished in a beautiful colour scheme and are just as lovely as they appear in the pictures. "The house is very well placed for the beach (though not overlooking it), walks, the shop and Gustav's bar and restaurant (recommended). We were surprised to find the downstairs bedroom was not self-contained, so the other couple had to walk through to access the very steep stairs, the bathroom and the lavatory. The standard of equipment was high - sophisticated hob/oven, dishwasher and washing machine, but no dinner knives! Noirmoutier is glorious."
