"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Besonders schön sind die in kurzer Autofahrt zu erreichenden traumhaften Atlanikstrände, welche abseits von den großen Campingplätzen fast menschenleer sind. Der Pool ist außerordnetlich groß, sauber und lädt inmitten des Innenhofs zum verweilen ein. Das alte Gemäuer lässt die Räume auch tagsüber angenehm kühl sein. Das Spielzimmer hat bei unseren Teenagern großen Anklang gefunden. Der Kontakt ist sehr nett und hilfbereit."

Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions. This is not communicated in the booking and I eventually I found it hidden, in French, in a sub menu, under House Rules, on the UK website. On departure we had to get to...

"Lovely, characterful house in a beautiful location amidst vineyards and sunflower fields. The house is very well equipped and gives easy access to the nearby towns, shops and beaches. Kids loved the 'princess' bedroom upstairs. The highlight for us was the garden - very large with lots of trees to give us some shade on the very hot days we had.
