Birdhouse Apartment

Simple studio, attached but with separate entry and key pad, so good privacy. NW Boise in a very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, range, electric skillet, toaster oven, instant pot, and coffee service.
Huge closet space, lots of other storage, and bathroom with shower.
Couch has luggage storage.
Wifi available. Near shopping, bus stop, downtown, and river. Pets may be allowed with $50 nonrefundable pet deposit, but guests must communicate with me about this for the safety of their pet.

A pleasant stay at the Birdhouse Apartment

This cute little place was perfect for us. The location was very central to everything we came to do- visit friends, and family, and attend a wedding. We had easy access to the very pleasant host, who answered any questions we had.

Super cute studio and neighborhood!

Perfect location for me and my pup to stay and visit home. Easy access to just about everything. Studio was private, cute and the perfect size. Pup and I were very relaxed. Check in/out was simple and host was very helpful and friendly.

perfect size 'house'

This was the perfect size for my dogs and me. (There is no fenced yard if visiting dogs need a yard.) The neighborhood was clean and quiet for walking. The location was good in terms of any amenities one could need. Ultimately, it was a great place to touch down each night after being out and about all day.

The apartment is roomy and comfortable. We did not find a control for the AC, but a nice ceiling fan kept us cool in the 100 degree heat of the day.

Our second stay at this little gem

This studio is perfect for those that need a place to hang their hat and then enjoy what Boise has to offer. We can walk a mile in one direction to visit family, 3/4 mile in the other to the nearby Hyatt Nature reserve. It's basic with small kitchenette, wifi, some satellite TV. Quiet street, helpful host next door. Hot water is slow but available. Let Holly know if you need anything, she'll put you at ease.

Girls trip

I traveled with a friend that was moving to Boise from WA and this cute little studio was perfect for the two of to spend some quiet quality time visiting before I flew back home. The outside chairs where wonderful to sit outside in the early morning and evening. The house was clean and cozy and the Wi-Fi worked great for a job interview before I flew home. Thank you for sharing your Birdhouse if I’m the area again I would definitely book.

Could have been better

not the cleanest, not the worst. The biggest issue for me was the large clock in the room, but that's because I have a hard time ignoring the ticking of a clock. The shower floor looks dirty but is not, the rugs could use a good vacuum and shampoo, so could the couch. The bed and bathroom were clean and that's what is most important to me.

Perfect spot for visiting nearby relatives

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this was the perfect respite at the end of a day visiting family who lived nearby. It is an inlaw-type studio unit (no separate bedroom) attached to the owner's home but entered around the corner so total privacy. Shades/shutters/curtains allow for a good night's rest. Comfortable supportive bed. All necessities in the kitchen. Soft lofty towels. Only downside was a long wait for hot water. Our host, Holly was timely in response to all our inquiries before and during our stay! It is about a mile's walk to the calming Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve with hiking trails. There are no walkable (within one mile) groceries/shopping or sightseeing so definitely have your transportation options in place ahead of time.

Perfect setup for our short stay

This property provided everything we needed for our stay. Only complaint was a strong cat smell within, that was luckily aired out by the many windows into the beautiful garden. Perfect place to crash for a night or two if busy in the area.
