Good location and friendly staff. Although this didn’t bother me, it could be a bit noisy at night due to some night walkers on the street.

Great quiet location,family friendly large rooms,pefect location for Vatican 10 mins walk,rooms very clean and spacious,both rooms renovated with added bonus of 1 with balcony.Staff very helpful with travel options and best places to eat nearby.Great free continental breakfast. loads of restaurants near,designer shops round the corner, supermarket 5 mins walk ,main bus route for tourist sights round the corner EUR 1.50 to go anywhere, bus ticket shop near too, Sit airport bus drop off,pick up stop 10 min walk.The only down points were cold showers which was reported but didnt improve very much.No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms or hotel bar /cafe

This is the most luxurious hotel I have ever seen. It was designed by John Jacob Astor who unfortunately was lost in the Titanic disaster. But thankfully his beautiful hotel keeps his legacy alive. The architecture is absolutely jaw dropping. You will feel like you went back in time because the decor and amenities look like they are brand new even though they are intricately ornate Edwardian designs. This hotel looks like it's from a fairy tale both inside and out.Astor thought of everything. Every little detail in this place is impeccable. The staff is extremely friendly and thoughtful and their service is excellent. They carry your luggage and walk you to the building with an umbrella if it's raining. They carry your luggage up to your room. The concierge desk helps you with whatever you need. It was my mother and my birthday and they were so thoughtful and hooked us up at another restaurant for her birthday dinner. They gave us a personalized birthday card and treats. They gave us a tour of the basement which has historical artifacts and photos or autographs of many famous celebrities who came to stay to perform at the venue in a previous decade. The hotel is ideally located close to the main train station and within walking distance of the main attractions. There are numerous restaurants close by. The check in process was smooth, the only disappointment was that I had booked two rooms but we were placed on different floors. The room was a good size, the tv did not work properly and one plug socket did not work but these were not huge issues for us and I imagine if we had reported them they would have been investigated. The bathroom was great, loved the shower! The biggest bonus was the breakfast (which was included). There was a big selection (toast, pancakes, cereal, some hot meat & eggs and more plus hot and cold drinks). I would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again.

The property was exceptional. The staff was amazing.
