"Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. The source is up a steep hill in the host’s house and we only had 1 bar on our phones at best. One night we had a power outage. The host was not on the property to address the problem. The...

"Owners were helpful and tried their best with English / French translating. Pool was lovely- unclear on booking though that you got 2 slots a day - these had to be pre booked for the week on day of arrival. "Judy was incredible- the house is situated in a cosy hamlet inn a pristine area of normandy. Cannot reccomend enough!!"

"No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. "A great week spent at Claires quiet and tranquil village house. Ideally located for a visit to the WW2 historical sites. Deceptively spacious, clean and with secure off road parking. Local supermarket only 2km away at Cruelly. Proved to be ideal for us touring the area on motorcycles. A little investment in some comfortable furniture would make it the perfect holiday spot. Wonderful Stay

"This is a really nice chateau. The road leading up to the parking is a bit bumpy, but manageable. The hotel is really clean and beautiful. The staff were very nice as well. We enjoyed our room. It was spacious and comfortable. We loved there was a fan in our room and the soaker tub was really nice. We stayed two nights and we thought it was a really great place to stay. It was in a quiet area which we very much appreciated. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night. We both ordered the sea bass with mashed potatoes. The food was good, but it wasn’t memorable. The escargot was very good though, we enjoyed that the most. Overall we highly recommend this hotel. It’s in a great location to explore the area. "
