"This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk. "France was really helpful prior to and on arrival. Bed superbly comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the lovely Buddha garden was perfect and dog safe. You do need to speak French to communicate easily. "

The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. "We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area in and around Bordeaux. The cabin/chalet was exactly as described. It is in the lovely back garden of a home in a suburb of Bordeaux. We were very comfortable after a busy day of site seeing and travelling about. There isn't much around it to walk to for dining, so we bought food on our way back at the end of day to eat in."

"We stayed for a week, 2 families (4 afults and 3 children), driving from the UK. A car is essential for exploring the area. We spent days by the pool, visited St Emilion (busy, beutiful, but get there early for easier parking - free roadside as you drive into the village). There isnt any air con, but 3 of the rooms are downstairs, which makes them very cool."

Revisiting hotel and Bordeaux

"This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk. You will find Mc Donald’s , Lindt and Starbucks on the way. If you need parking you need to pop into hotel to get the code and directions. When you park in the resid spots you will find a lift to take you up to reception. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and have everything to cook and be comfortable. This time we were on the ground floor and layout was different. Previously we were high up and had the most wonderful view of river and bridge. But we asked for this well in advance. Usually shops in the centre are shut on a Sunday. But special circumstances of Xmas meant they were open. So much choice and a lovely city to visit. Xmas market was huge and so we ended up going back to hotel and ordering a Uber eats as exhausted. Definitely recommend this hotel. "
