Inviting & easy to find. The trees surrounding the cottage made such lovely shadows thru the blinds spilling into every room.

Excellent choice
This is a pleasant little place. The pictures do not do it justice. Lovely pop patio, hidden location but walkable to the few businesses in Boonville. A great choice.

Cute and cozy getaway
We had a nice stay- we walked from the cabin to the hotel for dinner and had a great time. We also walked over to the bakery in the morning for scones and empanadas. The creek runs the behind the house. There is no wifi or cable so it was a good opportunity to unplug and relax.

Nice little cottage for a nice price.
The place worked perfectly for our weekend of wine tasting, and our dinner in Mendocino. Pros: The place was clean and well appointed with towels and even wash cloths. Very quiet, except for the creek running behind the cottage which was great. Has a TV with a DVD player. There's a full size refrigerator and a microwave. Cons: (and most of these are nit-picking.) The shower is a bit on the small size and the lighting in the bathroom isn't the best. The TV is a bit on the small size for watching while in bed, and there's no broadcast TV, only DVDs, of which they had a dozen or so on hand. No stove/oven, which we knew beforehand. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here, and we'd gladly stay here again!

Boonville basecamp
Consider this a cozy basecamp rather than a destination in itself. The cottage is a comfortable place to rest and recharge for another day of adventure. Short drive to a day of hiking nearby state parks: Hendy Woods, Navarro River, Montgomery Woods (near Ukiah), or along Hwy 1. Don't miss the wine tasting in Philo. Don't want to dine out? Take away from restaurants or the counter at the back of the market within walking distance. Cottage has a small dining table with place settings, microwave, full-sized fridge, and a drip coffee machine (bring your own ground coffee, or whole beans and grinder). This is VRBO so bring your own shampoo, conditioner and soap. Clean & comfortable bed, arm chairs (indoors) and balcony chairs (outdoors) -- and large, fluffy bath towels. Located off main street and behind the main house on the lot (also available for vacation rental), the cottage was a quiet retreat and good value.

Relaxing
We enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin this weekend. We found the cabin clean and exactly as described. The location was great, in easy walking distance to Boonville restaurants, wineries, shops, and the county fairgrounds. Caretaker Shane lives in an RV on the property, and was friendly and attentive. The cabin is very private, with a nice deck by the creek. There is no television service or internet available. There is however a TV set hooked up to a VHS/DVD player, with a small collection of movies to watch. There were also books and magazines to read. Cell phone and data reception on T-Mobile was strong during our stay.

We originally booked another room but the owner called me and suggested we stayed here, and I am so glad he did, it was great! It has its own entrance and very private. The only problem is that the internet was not working .

We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, lovely cottage in the woods. Very close walk to Boonville restaurants coffee shops and stores, too. Heating worked great, back porch was lovely for sitting outside. Frig, microwave, coffee maker were convenient (no stove). No wifi was a surprise but we enjoyed being offline.

Great location, private yet easy access to Boonville. Perfect for two. Back deck is private and surrounded by trees. AC worked great even during 103 temp days. Walking distance to Boonville Hotel - amazing food and gorgeous garden and short drive to Hendy Woods & the Bewildered Pig. We will be back!

Tranquil little cottage
My husband and I are working in the area. This cottage was lovely safe haven after a long days of work in the heat. The full sized fridge was great, and the kitchen was equipped with dishes and silverware. The AC works well and the hot water was plentiful. There isn’t a stove, but we used out camp stove on the deck. My favorite part of the stay was relaxing on the back porch watching the grey squirrels chase each other through the tree tops. Boonville is a quaint mountain town with a couple options to eat out and an adorable coffee shop with the best empanadas I’ve ever had. The owner and caretaker was attentive to all our needs. And even accommodated us when we wanted to extend our stay. Would definitely stay again!
