The hotel.was very close the railway station, but it very loud with the sounds of people and machinery all night. The service from the checkin and evening staff was excellent. The area has lots of homeless so be careful.

Super convenient for the station. Easy tram to the city centre. Good bed. Wi-Fi adequate. Not much space for lap-top etc. Great service. Excellent breakfast. Recommended.

The room was fine but the carpet was stained and felt very dirty. Bed was very good the first night. Second stay in a different room bed was not as comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and shower was good. A room at the back is much quieter. Breakfast was excellent. We were coming and going by train, so the location seemed good but there are much nicer areas easily accessible by tram.

everything was fine. Beautiful hotel with a stellar room with windows that open to the main square and a very handsome front desk gentleman who checked me in. Keep up the great work. Having some local wines when checkin in as a complimentary gift would be a nice touch :)

Surpassed expectations.
Super hotel right opposite rail station. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff. It has much more charm than the many nearby chain hotels. Very easy ride to the centre on the tram just outside station. For the price I couldn’t fault it. I was at front of hotel and there can be some noise from people talking outside, but it’s a station so to be expected, and I liked the sound of trams passing by.

Friendly staff. Staff did carry my bag up the 2 flights of stairs as there is no lift -which I knew. Hotel very convenient to Railway station and the brilliant Bordeaux tram system. Small rooms but adequate. It was very hot -fans supplied, which helped. Hotel could do with a carpet update. Breakfast was good and the stay was great for the rate we paid.

A great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we needed and always had a smile on their faces. It was a great location opposite the train station and a tram stop. The room was comfortable and clean. Our only problem was the room was very warm even with the fan provided.

The hotel is just opposite to the east end of the station (It's closer than indicated as 200m). An electric kettle and Nescafe are equipped. No air-conditioning (only electric fan), heater is equipped for winter. No elevater

My wife and I were travelling home through Bordeaux after a family wedding. We decided to stay for a couple of nights and sat at a bar at 7pm to find somewhere to stay nearby. Lots of choice and difficult to judge comfort from photos, it was the garden that did it for us. Booked BDX and had a lovely couple of nights. This is not high luxury but the staff were charming, it was very comfortable and really fitted the bill.

The hotel is located across the central train station in Bordeaux (Saint Jean), a great location with easy access to public transportation. The day I checked in, it was incredibly hot, humid, and very uncomfortable. We were greeted by a very courtious receptionist (can't remember his name). He was very kind, hospitable and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is not air-conditioned. However, the receptionist helped us by brining in a fan, a cooler, and privided complementary drinks. Thank you for the great service

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were very nice and helpful. I booked a twin room which I thought was a bit small for two people and the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied after the previous resident’s which cleaning staff should have done. The bed was super comfy and everything else was fine and I would stay there again.
