"Es ist das letzte Haus an der Straße in dem kleinen Ort, also kein Verkehr, nur Ruhe😌. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich👍. Wir sind angekommen und haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sehr gute Empfehlungen von sehenswerten in der Nähe geschickt, welche perfekt auf uns gepasst haben. "La Rustica is a large, quaint. comfortable villa, wirh a large fenced garden and an above ground pool ( not heated). It has many large rooms with antique decoration. Very characterfull.Comfortable beds with A/C in bed rooms. Lovely covered outdoor seating area where we spent most of our time. But the highlight was Maurizio!! What a gentleman. He made our holiday special and unforgetable. Thank you Maurizio"

"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see...

"A wonderful place for a large family gathering in the hills of Tuscany. The view is stupendous and the setting is green and peaceful. Farmhouse feel and close to nature. So much to do in the area from small local Trattoria to Arezzo, Siena and Florence. The hosts, Giuseppe and Marina are friendly and helpful and even set up a Tuscan cooking evening for us. We had 20 family members from 9 months to 91 and all had a great time. Many happy memories."

"We had a lovely holiday, the villa had lots of room and the pool was fantastic. Couple of places to have meals and kitchen was good. Interesting area, went to Cortona, Assisi and Arezzo. Also a concert in the village of Anghiari which was magical. Only slight negative, having to buy bottled water. Caroline"

"A great house in a fabulous location in the mountains. It's a 20 minute drive to any shops or cafes but that means it is really quiet (apart from the sound of cow bells. The house has lots of rooms, many games and an excellent pool."

"Emilia's home is a wonderful cozy farm house. Emilia met us on arrival with bruschetta, sandwich squares, snacks and a bottle of wine. She was on site daily feeding the cats and available to respond to questions. The views from the house were spectacular. You look over the vineyard into the Tuscan hillsides. Mid week there was a fruit torte on the table as a surprise. It was fantastic. Emilia is fully of warm hospitality. Our family would definitely come back again and will also recommend her...

"The property was exactly as listed - beautiful scenery and far away from neighbours so that you feel comfortable in your own bubble. Due to heavy storms we had a couple of issues with cloudy water and power going out, but the only thing outside of the hosts abilities was changing the weather! Whenever the power went Chiara and Davide came to our aid instantly and were nothing short of understanding and amazing every time. Cannot recommend this villa and host enough. 15/10."

Amazing views, price, restaurant & friendliness

"Hotel is a true Borgo style with very friendly staff. Rooms are a good size and nicely furnished. Though they g do not offer coffee making facilities on the room all other tea making facilities are available on room. Beautiful dining and breakfast area with extensive views. Wait staff are friendly and provide excellent service - restaurant food of a high standard and incredibly well priced for such a property. Only drawback is parking which is a walk up/down slight slope but it’s Italy!! Already have friends booking it! "

"Grand Hotel San Marino is just outside the main wall of the city what make is possible to be able to park but you are still a few steps from the main entrance. Beautiful view from the room and restaurant associated with the hotel is one of the best ones in town."

"The property is located in the historic center of San Marino. It’s quite an uphill climb, so those with mobility issues might consider elsewhere. Otherwise, the bathroom was excellent, and the hotel was clean. I forgot a Bluetooth speaker in my room, and the staff called me within 5 minutes and met me at the gate to the center, so I didn’t have to drag my luggage back up the hills. Excellent service. "
