"The rooms were very nice, and the beds were comfortable. It's undergoing renovations right now and my guess is that it will be awesome to stay there after they are completed. My only complaint was the cigarette smoke smell in the non-smoking section. The manager did come by to explain that it was due to the ongoing renovations and provided a complimentary gift to us for the inconvenience. "Van Life Hotel was very nice hotel and I enjoyed my time there. It is clean, quite, in a nice neighborhood close to the city center. The only shortcoming was the air-conditioning which sometimes worked and some other times did not. However, the time I was there it was not so hot and being in upper floors helped with air-conditioning. "

The gas hob in the kitchen wasn't working correctly, we managed it and chose not to move to another apartment shown to us as the one we had was bigger overall and had an oven which we wanted to use to cook meals. "The bar fridge was constantly warm, hence no cool drinks. Management was informed of the situation shortly after arrival but nothing was done for the entire 3 days. Garbage was collected at 4.00am by 10 noisy workers right outside our front window. The water in the shower was hot for 1 day only."
