Excellent communitcation with the host. The place was great and exactly what we needed for our trip to Salem. Great place for resting your head but may not be ideal for large gatherings. If you have issues with stairs this is not the place for you but the place was clean, located jn a safe area, quick walking distance for Salem festivities and doughnut shops. Would stay again!

The house was filthy and in disrepair did not look anything like the pictures. We left 10 minutes after we arrived let host know and host was going to refund our money but did not. Do not stay here.

Excellent Salem Night Away
We were looking for a place to stay for our daughters birthday that would allow us to stay in Salem and close to all of the attractions. This property gave us exactly what we were hoping for. The owner was responsive immediately and spoke about the "Salem Charm" as he called it of the building which made us love the stay more. The location gave us the ability to walk to the main focus of Salem without having to try to find parking for our car. As well as stores, coffee shops, parks etc..We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend the property to anyone hoping to experience Salem without breaking the bank to do so and yet feeling like home

Images are Deceiving
The location of the property is great! The property owners/managers were also amazing. I tripped a breaker and they fixed it right away. However, the house is very old and the pictures are not reality. The steps to the second and third floors are very narrow making it difficult to get luggage upstairs. There are not many supplies in the house as the way of plates, silverware, etc. The floors are uneven and the flooring is coming up in some areas. The water pressure is not good. My kids and I joked that we could go to the bathroom, brush our teeth, and shower at the same time since the bathroom is tiny. You can not open some of the cabinets all of the way because the ceiling is sloped. What was a deal breaker for me on re-booking this location was cleanliness. The stove was filthy and the bathrooms were not much better I found a dead bug in the half bath upstairs. The refrigerator was also dirty. I feel like if your paying to stay somewhere it should at least be clean. I understand homes in the North East are old and that wasn't a bother to me. The cleanliness and not mentioning the house is old and not as new as what the images show is a deal breaker.

Location was nice. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Easy walk or drive to all the places we visited in Salem. Only wish the main bathroom was a little bigger. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Pleasant stay in Salem!
We had a great time on our trip to Salem. Everything went great with the rental. Short walk to the main drag and in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely a newly renovated old Massachusetts house but very pleasant and plenty of room! Would definitely stay here again!
