Great location. Spacious and well appointed room. Restaurant not open, just bar. Noisy outside and cigarette smoke coming in every time door opened. Overall, great historic hotel.

This hotel is steeply rooted in history and very well maintained. Perfect location. A real grands sane if a hotel. Richard at the check in desk was stellar. One of the best check in experiences I have ever had!!

It is hard to find a clean, comfortable hotel in a good location in Boston for under $350 a night. This hotel was $265 a night including fees and tax in a great neighborhood. I received a free upgrade to a queen deluxe room with a newly renovated bathroom. Room and linens were very clean. Staff was very welcoming. Hotel is dated but comfortable and a very good value. Would definitely stay again.

They are doing construction on the 12th floor and had us in the room directly below. Every morning and all day we had to listen to construction over our heads until they finally offered to move us. They were not happy to move us, but agreed to it only because we continued to complain.
