Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a serious issue: the presence of bed bugs in the room. In addition to this significant problem, the receptionist's response was both unhelpful and disrespectful. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience and offering a solution, such as an alternative room, I was met with a dismissive attitude. I had to check-out of the hotel without spending the night and look for an alternative arrangement!

The room was not it. The furniture is dated and dinged up, the bed is really hard and not comfortable at all. There is a mini fridge which was nice, but it never felt like it really got cold despite being on the coldest setting. There is also a window in our room that was supposed to open, but didn’t. The bathtub did not drain/would drain very slowly. Some of the shower water from the day prior would still be sitting in the tub the next day so that was kind of gross. The bathroom also looked like it may have been “updated” in the last 5-10 years, but the person who did the work did a very lazy job. There was caulking all over the marble and the walls, gaps between the sink and the wall, and the sliding bathroom door looked like it had only been halfway painted. The only saving grace is the location, but I’m sure there is another hotel with better amenities close by.

Property is in VERY rough shape. Trust past reviews. The mattresses sag and the rooms are clearly very dates. Only good thing is location. Stayed here one night, if it was any longer I would have looked elsewhere. The manager however was extremely nice and accommodating.

Pros: Really nice facility - clean, tidy, comfortable, with well-decorated and appointed rooms. The staff was fantastic - friendly and helpful. The restaurant was small but had great food and servers and was very accommodating to my dietary needs. The location was great, walkable to restaurants, stores, the hospital, with very accessible public transportation otherwise. Cons: I only gave 4 stars because the bathroom shower had some minor rotting in the corner of the floor where water must have stood and it made the shower door slider tough to move. But not a big deal, it certainly didn't take away from how pleasant the hotel made my stay. I would recommend the Wyndham Beacon Hill. One tip - I wouldn't go for the executive floor again, the only perk seemed to be having robes in the room. Next time, I'll go with the standard room.

I was staying overnight in Boston after a small surgery @ Mass General for a follow-up visit the next morning. The location and quiet of this hotel was ideal. It is an older building, older furniture, fixtures, and sparse on room amenities like fridge or microwave. But if you are in the area for a short stay, hospital, or game at TDGarden, this works great.

The hotel is conveniently located to Mass General & walkable to area restaurants etc . The air conditioner/heater in the room is very very noisy- had to turn it off to sleep but got too hot. Very uncomfortable & didn’t sleep at all! Frustrating!!

The property is located right across from Mass General Hospital and right in the middle of the Beacon Hill neighborhood. It is a few minutes walk to the Charles/MGH train station and to all the shops on Cambridge and Charles streets. It has in-house restaurant for breakfast (not included in the price) and dinner/drinks, as well walking distance to plenty of cafes and eating joints. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The beds were comfortable. The only thing I noticed was that the clocks in the room were set to the wrong times :-)
