"Schon die Ferienwohnung war unglaublich schön, liebevoll und reichhaltig ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber äußerst freundlich. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung, besonders das Pietzmoor ist atemberaubend schön. Sicher haben wir noch nicht alles gesehen, aber wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch einige Male wieder und wir hoffen sehr, dass wir wieder das Glück haben bei Familie Rosche wohnen zu dürfen."

"... und gefunden! Wir hatten für unsere Familie (mit Hund) eine Ferienwohnung gesucht, von der aus wir verschiedene Aktivitäten angehen wollten - primär den Besuch des Heide-Parks in Soltau. Dabei sind wir auf diese sehr geräumige und schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung gestoßen. Wir konnten dann in jeweils weniger als einer Stunde Fahrzeit a) Hamburg, b) den Heide-Park und c) den Heide Himmel mit Wildpark erreichen, was für uns völlig o.k. war. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und...

"Fintel is rural on the outskirts of the Lüneburg Heide. The area is beautiful and ideal for walks and bird watching. Frau Anker is an excellent host and the accommodation is as described and met all our needs. There is great attention to detail and many little extras including doing our washing at no extra charge. Only small gripe was the required £50 cleaning fee which was not advertised up front. Highly recommended."

"No staff at reception. Guests were checking themselves in. A text in German with my room number. Got that sorted. Decided to stay another night. None answered the phone so rebooked thru Expedia. Four texts in German so I asked for a translation but got no reply. Nice place but seems disorganized."

As expected, mostly comfortable but cold rooms

"Our was unremarkable in a neutral way. Check-in was swift, beds were comfortable and the breakfast good. The one thing that could be improved is that although we had booked well in advance, the room was unheated when arrived and it took about 45 min to reach somewhat comfortable temperature. Also note that there is no lift and 2 flight of stairs to climb to some rooms."
