"What a fabulous villa! The listing photo’s tell you how gorgeous the view from all the balconies is. The location was perfect: privacy without being remote. The stroll down to the beach was very easy, and we enjoyed drinks at Sunset Restaurant before a sunset swim one evening, and a meal there on another. "Das Appartement liegt wirklich traumhaft in erster Lage zum Strand, es gibt an jeder Ecke Duschen und der Strand ist perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ging immer super schnell und sie haben sich sehr bemüht, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Dennoch war ich mit dem Appartement nicht ganz zufrieden. Es ist schon einige Jahre alt, das Sofa ist fleckig und wird mit Tagesdecken abgedeckt, die Elternmatratze ist komplett hart, die der Kinder durchgelesen, das Stockbett hat oben keinen Balken...

"This is a great place to stay. We stayed because we had an early flight. The place is super clean and a 5 min walk to the airport terminal - it was great! If you want to go into old town - it’s a 25 min walk or a 10 Euro taxi ride! I would highly recommend this place if you need a place to crash before your next adventure! "

"Amazing hotel for views out to the sea, a few minutes walk away from a beach, restaurants and shops. The bed didn’t appear the cleanest as was stained in areas but the sheets were clean so wasn’t an issue. Lovely rooftop bar, worth the slight extra cost of food/drink for the amazing views Would recommend this place to anyone!"

Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"As frequent travellers, this is one of only two hotels that myself and my partner would definitely return to, as it was so impressive and relaxing. We stayed in the spacious Preferred Club bungalow, with a great sea view and surrounded by cared-for, quiet gardens. There are a range of pools to choose from (the main pool is huge), so you can decide on quiet or lively and a lot of sunbeds everywhere. There is also a private beach for the hotel with steps into the sea (as other reviews have said, this looks more like a lovely lake than the sea). Food was excellent quality, fresh with a huge range available. After dinner, the lobby and bar area become lively, with guests chatting and playing games. The staff were excellent, from the welcome to the restaurants to the evening drinks service. If you choose the Preferred Club, there are perks such as personal check-in, a private lounge with indoor and outdoor seating and a large range of drinks and snacks, and a private pool and sunbathing area. If you want to eat out, Gouvia has a good amount of restaurants and there is a bus route nearby to Corfu Old Town. As this is Greece, the hotel has several well-behaved cats walking among the guests and there are baby ducks roaming the gardens too. The only criticism we had, as per other reviews, is the hotel does have quite a few wasps, so it would be good if they could find a way of managing this. It didn't spoil the stay though."

"Excellent stay at the Tryp Wyndham Dassia. Staff were excellent. A perfect mixture of friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention also to the domestic staff, who were so warm and friendly every morning, and kept the rooms spotlessly clean and hygienic. There is a pretty decent gym on the lower ground floor, and a spa also. The pool area was really beautiful and surrounded by lush green gardens with amazing flora and fruit trees! The location of the hotel was excellent, with the beach just across the road. There is a bus stop just outside that goes straight to Corfu Town and also Ipsos, the next resort up. There was also a very large supermarket in the vicinity that sold pretty much everthing you could think of. There are many restaurants nearby on the main road and also along the beach front. Dassia beach was beautiful and I would highly recommend both the resort and the hotel."
